My Story
Music Has Always Been More Than Performance
Music has been a constant part of my life for as long as I can remember. It has given me confidence during uncertain moments, helped me express emotions that words alone couldn't capture, and introduced me to incredible people and experiences along the way.
Over the years, I've come to realise that music isn't just about performing it's about connection. It's about discovering who you are, sharing your story and finding the confidence to be yourself.
That belief became the foundation of Aura Lume Music.
Why I created Aura Lume Music
Creating a Place Where Everyone Can Grow
I created Aura Lume Music because I wanted to offer something more than traditional music lessons.
I wanted to create a welcoming space where people of all ages and experience levels could feel supported, encouraged and inspired to grow.
Whether you're picking up a guitar for the very first time, discovering your singing voice or writing your own songs, every lesson is tailored to your goals and your journey.
My hope is that every student leaves each lesson with more confidence than when they arrived.
Learning Through Experience
As a singer, songwriter and one half of RnB Soul Train, I've had the privilege of performing at festivals, community events and venues throughout Western Australia.
Performing has taught me so much not only about music, but about preparation, resilience, creativity and connecting with an audience.
Those experiences now shape the way I teach, allowing me to share practical skills and real-world knowledge with every student.

Every Student Has Their Own Journey
I don't believe there's one "right" way to learn music.
Every student arrives with different experiences, different goals and different reasons for wanting to learn.
That's why I take a personalised approach to every lesson, adapting my teaching to suit each individual.
My role isn't simply to teach songs or techniques it's to help you build confidence, develop your creativity and enjoy making music.
